The Barbados BLOOM Cleantech Cluster

BLOOM Cleantech Cluster is a sustainable energy and climate technology (cleantech) cluster established by Export Barbados (BIDC). The cluster was officially launched in September 2020 as a partnership with the then Ministry of International Business and Industry (MIBI), with technical assistance from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

BLOOM offers a residential and virtual incubation programme for sustainable energy startups, as well as personalized coaching and financial assistance for innovative startups and entrepreneurs.

Additionally, the cluster coordinates and provides business consulting services to its members in the areas of project funding, market research, innovation management, and product commercialization.
