The Diamonds International Rotary Club of Barbados West Charity Golf Classic returned to Royal Westmoreland Golf Club on Saturday, July 26, 2026, bringing together golfers, sponsors and community partners for another outstanding day of competition, fellowship and philanthropy in support of the Rotary Club of Barbados West's signature community initiative.

Now in its 24th staging and celebrating a 26-year partnership between Diamonds International and the Rotary Club of Barbados West, the Charity Golf Classic has become one of Barbados' premier fundraising sporting events, generating vital support for projects that have positively impacted thousands of lives across the island.

Held under this year's Rotary presidential theme, "The Power of Our Influence," proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Club's "Ending Abuse, Restoring Dignity for Young Men and Boys" programme—a community-centred initiative that works alongside faith-based and community organisations to protect, educate, mentor and empower young men and boys throughout Barbados.

Kenneth Flockhart, Sebastian O'Hara, Joseph Ince and James Duncan claimed the coveted first-place trophy, while Copeland Straker, Alex Abed, Sean Thornton and Rick Taurel secured second place. Linda Ridout, Simon Parravicino, David Evelyn and Marissa Evelyn completed the podium in third.

The DI RCOBW Charity Golf Classic also welcomed back Barbadian international cricketer Jason Holder, who once again led one of two Diamonds International teams competing in the tournament. A long-standing supporter of the event, Holder continues to generously lend his time and influence to initiatives that make a positive difference in the community. His participation reflects the shared commitment of Diamonds International and its partners to giving back and supporting programmes that create brighter futures for young men and boys across Barbados.

Prizes were presented by Diamonds International Managing Director Jacob Hassid alongside Ben Cook, Director of Travel Retail for Bremont, the award-winning British luxury watchmaker renowned for its precision engineering, aviation heritage and exceptional timepieces. Bremont joined the Charity Golf Classic as a sponsor for the first time this year, further strengthening the event's tradition of excellence and community impact.
